Aged Four to Sleep

Aged Four to Sleep (Lifetime Friendship)

Aged four to sleep, hands cradling faith,
to judge never a duty, but pain.
childhood embraces,
heart caresses and a smile slowly ebbing away.

Tears as rivers symmetrically flow, emotions lay
deft by lonely sides,
loyalty borne to this wearer of face
never in strength, to tell neither lies.

Maturing as once, true silhouettes shadow lives,
honouring silent peace,
sitting park benches opening hearts
holding hands brings loyalties preached.

Has time so withered, arms once cradled,
only the loved seldom roam,
perhaps a friend that may ever was
lies graceful in his desires to come home.
